The base ingredient of all types of incense is the oleoresin extracted from the Boswellia Sacra tree, native to the Arabian Peninsula and horn of Africa.

Producing incense is very complex. The right formula derives from the centuries-old experience of monks in the Eastern world, and it is the key to create exceptional scents while also eliminating natural toxic substances present in raw resins.

The process starts by combining the ingredients, some of which are rare and hard to find, and the resulting mix needs to “rest” for some time. Finally, the blend is mixed again multiple times to create its unique scent.

The natural aromas are all water-soluble, as the oil-based ones would emanate toxic smoke when burning.
